1) What this service is

We provide an interactive chart maker for creating box-and-whisker (box) plots from your data. The tool calculates the five-number summary (min, Q1, median, Q3, max), plots whiskers using the 1.5×IQR convention, highlights outliers, supports multiple series (including CSV where each column becomes a series and the first row may be treated as labels), offers design/label controls, and lets you export charts as PNG or SVG. This site is for educational and informational purposes only and is not professional statistical, academic, financial, or legal advice.

2) Your responsibilities

• Use the Box & Whisker Plot Maker lawfully and responsibly.
• Verify results before relying on them for research, assessment, reporting, or other consequential uses.
• Do not input sensitive, confidential, or personal data that you are not authorized to process.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, bulk-scrape, or abuse the service.

3) Your content & intellectual property

Your data remains yours. You retain any rights to datasets you input and charts you generate. The site’s software, design, and content are protected by copyright and other laws. Except as allowed by fair use or applicable law, you may not copy or redistribute significant portions of the site without permission.

4) Acceptable use

• No automated scraping or high-volume requests that may degrade service stability.
• No attempts to bypass security or access non-public areas.
• No use that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable laws.

5) Third-party services

We may use third-party providers for hosting, content delivery, analytics, fonts, or charting libraries. Each third party is responsible for its own services and policies.

6) No warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that outputs will be error-free or suitable for your specific use, or that the service will be uninterrupted or secure.

7) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the site.
